Moroccan police arrested five people suspected of organizing illegal immigration transport and smuggling.
Xinhua News Agency, Rabat, August 24th (Reporter Huo Jing) According to a report by Moroccan official news agency Motong News Agency on the 24th, Moroccan police launched separate operations in Tantan, a city in the south of Morocco, and Mehdiyah, a city in the northwest of Morocco, and arrested five people suspected of organizing the transport and smuggling of illegal immigrants.
Motong News Agency quoted the security department of Mozambique as saying that the police arrested four people in Mahdiyah who were suspected of using fishing boats to organize illegal immigration smuggling. The suspects ranged in age from 29 to 36. In Tantan, the Mozambican police arrested a 30-year-old male suspect who allegedly tried to carry out illegal activities at the mouth of the Della River. Located in the south of Morocco, the Della River is the longest river in Morocco.
