90 key enterprises of service trade in Guangzhou made a wonderful appearance at the service trade fair.
In 2022, China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as "Service Trade Fair") opened in Beijing on the evening of August 31st, and 90 key enterprises of Guangzhou delegation made a collective appearance. At the Guangdong Theme Day of the Service Trade Fair this afternoon (September 1st), the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Guangdong Digital Trade and Service Industry Promotion Association jointly released the Guangzhou Digital Trade Development Report (2021-2022). The report shows that the proportion of digital trade in Guangzhou in the national digital trade has increased from 4% in 2018 to 8% in 2020, which has become the main driving force for the growth of Guangzhou’s service trade.

Five cases of Guangzhou enterprises:
The number of outstanding cases of service trade in Guangdong Province accounts for half of the province.
It is understood that at this service trade fair, Guangzhou released the digital trade propaganda film "Guangzhou Running, Digital Trade Future" and "Guangzhou Digital Trade Development Report (2021-2022)" to the world. Three cases recommended by Guangzhou, namely, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao International Supply Chain Company (DSTP case of digital service trade platform of global premium distribution center), Doraemon Technology (case of cross-border e-commerce platform in the Middle East) and Baiyun Airport (experience of improving the excellent quality of flight operation based on the whole life cycle), were selected as national excellent service trade cases of the Service Trade Fair, and five Guangzhou enterprises, Doraemon Technology, Cool Dog, Jiubang Century, Haowhale Cloud and Jishang Network, were rated as excellent service trade cases in Guangdong Province, accounting for half of the province.

Guangzhou’s digital trade grows rapidly;
In 2020, it will reach $14.066 billion, 1.6 times higher than that in 2018.
Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Guangdong Digital Trade and Service Industry Promotion Association jointly released Guangzhou Digital Trade Development Report (2021-2022) at the Guangdong Theme Day of the Service Trade Fair on the afternoon of September 1st. According to the report, the scale of digital trade in Guangzhou increased from $5.507 billion in 2018 to $14.066 billion in 2020, an increase of 1.6 times, and the proportion of digital trade in Guangzhou increased from 4% in 2018 to 8% in 2020. Among them, in 2019 and 2020, the growth rate of digital trade in Guangzhou reached 70.6% and 49.7% respectively, and the digital trade surplus expanded to $475 million and $4.31 billion. Digital trade became the main driving force for the growth of Guangzhou’s service trade.
With the rapid growth of scale, around the distinctive digital service trade industries such as software, cloud services, games, animation, music, advertising and marketing, a number of new models and formats have emerged in Guangzhou digital trading enterprises, and their structures are constantly being optimized. In 2021, Guangzhou’s knowledge-intensive import and export accounted for 43.4% of the city’s total service trade, and intellectual property royalties accounted for more than half of the city’s digital trade imports.
The report puts forward the target orientation of Guangzhou’s digital trade, and will strive to build an international digital trade innovation leading demonstration zone from three aspects: international rules docking system innovation, international digital trade technology innovation and international digital trade industry reform. Anchored with the above objectives, the report puts forward six major work priorities, such as improving top-level design, optimizing business environment, expanding market players, building characteristic industries, promoting data flow, and strengthening basic security, and strengthening the implementation of 26 tasks. At the same time, the report also released the high-quality development policy system of digital trade in Guangzhou for the first time, comprehensively displayed the key areas of digital trade development in Guangzhou, vividly presented the new models, new formats and new applications of digital trade development in Guangzhou, and attracted more enterprises to invest in Guangzhou and share opportunities.
There are many highlights in the display of service trade achievements.
In the first half of the year, the import and export of Guangzhou’s service trade reached nearly 20 billion US dollars, an increase of 11%.
At the Guangdong Comprehensive Exhibition of the Service Trade Fair, Guangzhou concentrated on the achievements of the pilot project of service trade innovation and development, the construction of a service outsourcing demonstration city and the construction of a characteristic service export base.
In recent years, Guangzhou has undertaken the pilot work of innovation and development of service trade for three consecutive rounds, and has been granted five export bases with national characteristics. Driven by the pilot work, Guangzhou’s service trade has developed continuously and healthily, and a large number of outstanding enterprise cases have emerged. In the first half of this year, the import and export of Guangzhou’s service trade was nearly 20 billion US dollars, an increase of 11%, achieving a service trade surplus of 3.215 billion US dollars.

"The fully-automatic terminal of Nansha Port Area Phase IV is the first newly-built automatic terminal in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the first fully-automatic terminal in the world for river-sea-rail multimodal transport, providing a complete set of replicable, scalable and referential solutions for the global automatic terminal construction." Li Shupei of Guangzhou Port Group introduced to the audience in front of the simulation model of the fourth phase automatic terminal in Nansha Port Area.
Sanqi Entertainment built the META Universe Art Museum in the central area of Meta, a Meta Universe Art Community. The audience can enter the art museum through VR equipment and experience the charm of Lingnan intangible culture. Guangdian Express showed the digital financial service terminal (DBM), digital cash register, digital cash collection terminal (WOS) and hardware wallet (PW5) on the spot, and imagined the digital RMB consumption scene with the audience. The Schiavo desktop VR interactive all-in-one machine displayed by Vision Electronic is a multifunctional interactive teaching and operating platform integrating 3D display, 3D stereoscopic interaction and high-performance computing capability, which is suitable for virtual simulation, experimental training, science education and other teaching scenes …
"Netease’s overseas revenue accounts for more than 10% of the total revenue, and many products have achieved remarkable results overseas." Li Jiang, deputy director of public affairs of Guangzhou Netease, said in the promotion of the Cultural Forum of the Trade Fair that he would tell the story of China to the global audience and export China’s original power in the process of promoting game products to the sea.
